The blade has precision filed saw teeth and raker teeth which grip into the wood for rapid cutting action when cutting, especially useful when cutting green wood. The quick release tension lever makes swapping saw blades easy and convenient. A blade protector is supplied to covver the serrated edges of the blade, when not in use.
