The Clarke DFI1950 is a compact and lightweight dual fuel inverter generator, offering a flexible and portable power solution for workshops, outdoor events, site use and emergency backup. With a maximum output of 1850W on petrol or 1650W on LPG, it delivers clean sine wave electricity that’s safe for sensitive electronics such as laptops, TVs and smartphones, as well as power tools and lighting.

Dual fuel functionality allows the generator to run on either petrol or LPG, offering flexibility depending on fuel availability, storage or cost. The 4.1L petrol tank delivers up to 4.75 hours of continuous use at 75% load, ideal for extended work or power outages. LPG operation provides lower emissions and reduced running costs, with over 30 hours of runtime from a standard 19kg bottle. The advanced inverter system features automatic voltage regulation (AVR) and a digital display showing voltage, load level and fuel status. Safety features include overload protection, low oil shutdown and a high-temperature cut-off to safeguard both the generator and connected devices.

The DFI1950 includes 2x 230V 13A sockets for mains-powered tools, 1x 12V DC cigarette-style socket for battery charging and 1x 5V USB port for portable devices. Economy mode reduces fuel consumption and engine speed under light loads. Anti-vibration mounts help minimise vibrations for smoother operation. The generator operates at a sound power level of 95 dB LwA, making it suitable for various outdoor and emergency power needs.

For easy transport and storage, the DFI1950 features two rear wheels, an extendable handle for rolling and a top-mounted carry handle. Weighing just 23.7kg, it’s easy to move, store and set up wherever temporary or backup power is required.
