The Dorchester is manufactured with a cast-iron body, finished with black, heat resistant paint and features a pedestal base for raising the fuel bed height. It has air control for altering the burn rate / heat output and has a simple to use pull handle system that moves the riddling grate to push soot and dirt into the ash pan for easier cleaning. The air wash system helps to keep the inside of the glass clean so you can benefit from the full flame effect.
Please use a flexible flue liner with a diameter of 6" (150mm) if required.
It is recommended that a carbon monoxide detector is installed in accordance with BS EN 50292:2002
All Clarke Stoves are built to Defra Standards and comply with Eco Design 2022 emissions and efficiency requirements for clean burning (BS/EN13240). If you intend to use this appliance on a barge or boat it must be installed in accordance with BS 8511:2010 - consult your qualified installer.
